eBay is not only a marketplace but is becoming a Hollywood of sorts -- it has its own stars, real life drama, intrigue -- but no script.

BuyWeird.com has put up this special section called "eBay Idol" to put a spotlight on interesting personalities who have given a face to eBay. They are not only selling, but sharing a part of their lives.

dtermined_1 made it to eBay Pulse on May 16, 2005 with his "Change My Name For The Rest of My Life" auction. Shad says: "Let me tell you why I want to do this. I believe this will be the only way that I can come up with enough $$$ at one time to buy a house (down payment) for me and my 2 boys, (see pics) and if I have enough, I will also start a savings for both of them." He's the man!
