Fans sell mud, rain water from concert!!!

Music fans who braved the rain-lashed Glastonbury Festival are now attempting to cash-in by selling mud from the site. Violent storms saw the start of last weekend’s event, as two inches of rain fell in three hours on Friday.

Now items including a jar of Glastonbury mud, mud-caked trainers and wellies have been put up for sale on eBay.

One seller is offering five pots of authentic Glastonbury mud, complete with a certificate of authenticity. Another, vgoodfellow987 is offering a pair of wellington boots bought at the site.

BuyWeird.com counted 17 auctions selling stuff taken from the Glastonbury Festival site.

Mini book signed by JK Rowling sold for $45K

A minibook written by J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series , and auctioned for charity has been sold on eBay for £24,995 (approximately US $45,620.87). The buyer was an eBay member in France, "pikou6."

The miniature book, as described by the seller Fraser's Authographs, was "a beautiful piece, written, and signed, on the opening page in fine black pen ink ‘by J.K Rowling’ the bestselling British author."

It is a miniature, green hard-back (landscape) book, embossed with gilt decoration (measuring approx. 4x6 cm), which contains a selection of delicate illustrations of broomsticks, witches hat's and Harry's trademark wire spectacles in fine black pen ink.

Rowling lists the books he requires for his spells and describes the clothes he needs. She also reminds parents that 'first years' are not allowed there own broomsticks. The book ends with the acknowledgement 'From Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stones by me'. An exquisite piece in excellent condition.

eBay Pulls Penis-shaped Pumpkin, Seller Pushes it Back! But eBay firm!

Auction giant eBay is now engaged in a tug 'o war of sorts with a seller who has offered to sell a Pumpkin shaped like a phallic symbol (ok, ok, it's shaped like a Penis -- why can't you say that word, Vagina, I mean Virginia?)

The seller, whom we will identify as "RM", told BuyWeird.com that his item was removed the first time he listed it (5593302507)because of an alleged violation of "eBay's MA Miscategorization policy."

"I feel sad but I'll relist it very quickly with another words (that) don't violate eBay policy...," he says. "A pumpkin can't violate ebay rules, right?"

But as soon as he relisted (5593424505), eBay again has pulled the Penis Pumpkin (not literally, of course), and it only builds up the excitement over this one of a kind freak of Mother Nature.

The seller says he doesn't agree with eBay's decision (this is a common feeling shared by everyone who's auctions had been pulled. You're not alone, RM)

"I don't care that this has a shape of a penis. THIS IS A PUMPKIN!," he says.

He has a point. Can Mother nature be blamed? We're sure this was not bred in some kind of a Sex Organ Vegetable Farm, right? But lately, eBay has been pricky (oops, no pun intended) about auctions that have sexual connotations despite that fact that you can find a thousand dildos on its Mature Audience Category. Just last week, it poked on the Cat's Vagina auction and took it down. The seller in that auctuion tells BuyWeird that she was not selling the Cat's V-word but only a certificate of ownership to the Cat's V-word.

A medical worker from New York has put on sale an extra-ordinary work of art -- a miniature baseball stadium made of 1,200 craftsticks! The seller, Sam, says proceeds of the sale will go to 15-year-old daughter Ashley's college fund and a donation to the American Cancer Society.

"I thought I'd make this special project out of the passion of baseball and also start a college fund for her. She will be a Junior in high school this September and hope to start saving now. This project took me 6 months to complete," Sam says.

The models' dimensions are: L=25' x W=20' x H=8 1/4'. The stick stadium is made complete with ground level seats, loge level seats, an upper deck, foul poles with plastic screens, 2 bullpens,home and visitor dugouts, a glass entrance for the Press Box area and ticket booths outside the stadium. A boy from Indiana is selling his toy soldiers to help his sister with her medications.

"My name is Cody and I love my sister to death. My sister is almost 2 and has a bad rash on her and she has lots of medications. She used to be smooth but now she is rough. My sister scratches all night and cries all night," Cody says.

Cody's mom says his sister has a skin rash known as eczema. It consumes nearly 80% of her body. "A 4 oz tube of each medication for my daughter is over $100.00 and currently she has 3 different tubes a day and each tube needs to be replaced after about 3 days. She has to also sleep with wet gauze from head to toe each night to curb the itching. The doctors also have her on a nerve relaxer 3 times a day so basically she is a zombie all day," she says.

My son doesn’t have a gum wrapper to sell, nor does he have a mystery paycheck, toast or even a signed autograph of Paris Hilton’s grandma’s cousins aunt. He just has these soldiers," she adds.
